Rob Herscoe

Robert Herscoe created the award-winning firm, Herscoe Hajjar Architects, LLC with his partner Michael Hajjar in 2003. As Managing Partner, he oversees the architectural firm's client projects.
Robert is a professional with over 29 years of experience as an architect designing custom, high-end single-family homes as well as providing residential renovations and additions, and small-scale commercial projects. Originally from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, Robert received his Bachelors of Science degree in Architecture from Carnegie Mellon University. Robert has had the opportunity to work with such firms as Erickson/Herscoe in Connecticut and Skidmore, Ownings Merrill with offices in Chicago, London and San Francisco.
Robert lives in Naples with his dog, Pumpkin. He enjoys cooking and spending time with his friends and family. He is a constant supporter of the business community and is an active member of AIA, and NCARB. Robert also received the prestigious Sam Noe’s People’s Choice Award for “Four Corners Design Competition.”
G. Michael Hajjar

Michael Hajjar received his Bachelor of Architecture degree in 1990 from Roger Williams College, and has been practicing architecture ever since. As a Project Architect, Michael joined Herscoe Architects in Canton, Connecticut in 1993, and later moved to Naples as most of their work was focused on high-end residences in the Florida market.
In 2003 Michael and Rob Herscoe branched off and formed their own firm, Herscoe Hajjar Architects, LLC. They have designed numerous luxury homes and condominium remodels in and around the Southwest coast. Michael is responsible for design and client communications, and also coordination of project components for the firm.
When Michael isn’t practicing Architecture, he is a busy husband and father of four children. He is also a member of the AIA, NCARB and the Woman's Council of Realtors.
Andrea Gordon
Andrea is a professional with over 25 years of marketing and branding experience for many of the most recognizable names in variety of industries. She had her start in the cosmetic industry with a 10 year tenure at Estee Lauder Brands in the Product Development Division. She began her consulting business, Madhatter Marketing where she consulted for The Limited Brands, Victoria Secret Beauty, PINK, Liz Claiborne, Origins, Guess and various private label brands while living in New York.
In her current capacity, she is the “face” of Herscoe Hajjar Architects, LLC out and around town. She is responsible for Business Development, Marketing and Public Relations for the firm. Andrea is an active liaison to our clients, vendors, builders and the real estate community. Always a constant supporter to the business community and is an active member of various Philanthropic organizations. She always has a smile on her face and make all who enter our office always feel welcome and appreciated.
John berkoben
John Berkoben joined Herscoe Hajjar Architects, LLC as a draftsman and 3D artist in 2008. John is a professional with several years of experience as a draftsman assisting with the design of custom, high end, single-family homes as well as residential renovations and additions and small-scale commercial projects.
In his capacity, John develops 3D models and animations reflecting design concepts for our clients as a unique tool to have visual representation of their homes in the developmental stages. In addition, he continues to work diligently on the detailed construction drawings in compliance with local government codes and requirements for our award-winning firm.
John received his Bachelors of Science degree in Industrial Design from the prestigious Art Institute of Pittsburgh in Pennsylvania. He says that if he wasn't currently working at HHA in the field of Architecture, he would most likely be spending his days golfing and vacationing with his family.
Mitko Yankov
Mitko Yankov is an essential team member at Herscoe Hajjar Architects, LLC since joining our firm in 2015. Mitko grew up in Sophia, Bulgari where architecture was a central part of his childhood. Mitko completed his studies in 2015 with a degree in Architecture and Engineering from Varna University in Varna, Bulgaria. As a young boy, Mitko would build with his lego set and always dreamed of a career in Architecture.
Mitko started his career as an Architect working on international projects in Europe such as the New International Passenger Terminals at the airports in Varna and Burgas, Bulgaria as well as shopping centers and Double Tree by Hilton in Minsk, Belarus before having the opportunity live in Naples, Florida and work in the residential realm of his studies, where he excels everyday. Mitko is not only a valued member of the Herscoe Hajjar Architects, LLC team, he is an essential member of each team that is assembled for any project he works on. Homeowners, builders, designers and engineers all appreciate Mitko’s value engineering abilities and overall decision making during the, sometimes challenging process of Architecture and Design, while always maintaining his mild manner and team spirit. Mitko also enjoys playing tennis and soccer in his off hours.
Mitko says, "I value my chosen profession, because I get to help people create their dream homes, no matter how unusual and creative, they can be."
Nicole largillier
Architectural Designer
Nicole joined our team in July 2023, bringing with her extensive experience in French fashion and luxury brands which was a flawless transition to the residential boutique environment at Herscoe Hajjar Architects. For over 8 years, Nicole worked with luxury houses like Hermes, Chanel, and interned in Milan with Christian Louboutin. Soon after starting her family, she shifted back to her original passion and resumed her architectural studies, completing her Bachelor of Science in Architecture at the University of Cincinnati's Design, Architecture, Art, and Planning program (DAAP) in April 2023. Her previous studies were focused aboard, studying Architecture at L'Ecole Speciale d'Architecture in Paris, France.
Nicole was initially attracted to HHA's adaptability across so many varied architectural styles in residential design. Since joining the team, she's enjoyed working with and learning from mentors Rob Herscoe and Michael Hajjar. The diverse projects keep her engaged and excited about the practice of architecture.
Outside of work, Nicole loves swimming and traveling with her French husband and two beautiful daughters.
Stephanie Ontko
We are thrilled to add Stephanie Ontko to our team. Stephanie accepted the role of Office Manager in January 2020. Although it turned in to a “rocky road” due to the COVID pandemic soon after her start, she acclimated and quickly jumped into action and had our office up and running remotely and ensured that we never missed a beat!
Originally from North Carolina, Stephanie has been in Naples since 1993, where she raised her wonderful 2 daughters and has made Naples her permanent home. She brought her love of photography and art to our team and has been instrumental in creating a perfect environment for our team and clients.
If she was not working at HHA, Stephanie would be happily pursuing her artistic side on the Mediterranean Coast of Italy; we hope you get there one day Steph, but, we all could not imagine a day without you at Herscoe Hajjar Architects, LLC. She is also is a devoted Mamma to her cats, Sophie and Baci.
